Food Truck/Vendors Expression of Interest

Individually and collectively, the Major City Events team has developed strong working relationships with a wide range of food vendors over many years.

Each event season, we also welcome new vendors to our program. This allows us to introduce fresh and interesting food offerings, discover new local food businesses and give our audiences something a little different from event to event.

We value the relationships we build with our vendors and aim to create a positive and collaborative experience for everyone involved.

Please note this an Expression of Interest only and the completion of this form does not guarantee a trading place at our event. We will contact you if we have a trading place available for your food offering.

The City of Canning is committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information collected through this “Snap Form” form is used to support the delivery of City services, programs, and activities. Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected, or for a related purpose permitted by law. The Major Events team endeavour to select food vendors based on the expected attendance, style of event, demographic expected and socio-economic factors of the area. This may include similar styled cuisines due to large crowds, or requests to adapt your menu to suit the crowd socio-economics, eg. smaller portions, lower retail price.

The Major Events team continue to make an active effort to ensure all events are sustainable, environmentally friendly and low waste. All businesses trading at City of Canning events use compostable or biodegradable products. Please NO plastic straws, cutlery or packaging. 

Current and relevant documentation will be requested from every food vendor for each event. Please provide these documents as requested by a minimum two weeks prior to the event date to ensure they can be reviewed by the Major Events Team.
